Blizzard Diablo 3 Development Forums [Archive]

To my surprise Blizzard only allows people with a copy of Diablo 2 to provide input for Diablo 3. Does anyone know why this is? I owned Diablo 2 a while ago, but I'm not planning to buy it again to tell them what I expect from their game.

If anyone could pass this on to Blizzard I would be most grateful.

pretty sure it isnt just the D3 forums, and it isnt a D2 CD Key you need, its all the forums and if you own any blizzard game, use that CD key and you can post on all of the forums...from my understanding.

Probably a good idea, otherwise it would be three times as crowded with many more bots and trolls.

Yes, except for WC3, which needs a WC3 key.

And I agree, it's well worth the limit, to avoid the worst trolls. Also, buying D2 now is like $10 or less anyway. Worth the money to have a valid battle.net key for both forums and gaming.
