Diablo III and Diablo: Demonsbane

Diablo 3 will contain a lot of lore and characters from previous games, but most importantly we were told at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals there would be characters and locations from the Diablo novels. As such, I will be writing summaries of each of the Diablo novels, populating the diablowiki.net with lore.

The first novel to get summarized is Diablo: Demonsbane. Feel free to read it and to contribute to the wiki where needed.

Are those novels actually any good, in terms of the writing?

I tend to assume that books based on games will be pretty poor viewed as literature, but I'd be happy to be wrong about that.

Edit: oh wait... looking at your summary I realize I actually read the e-book version of this when it first came out... guess I wasn't wrong ><

I'm currently working on the novels, and I say they are definitely good in terms of writing ;) . I haven't done Demonsbane yet, but to see the novels in the games would be amazing.
