MF Light sorc merc helm?

My question is would my merc benifit from using a Dream helm instead of Andy Helm. I mean the helm is great and all but would his killing power go up from the added light damage for his attacks and the lvl15 light bursts or should i just stick with Andy helm?

Andy's is popular for the str boost primarily, although the 20ias is nice too. If you have the str covered, its definitely a possibility, but as to whether or not its worth investing in a dream, that's really up to you.

Hrmm think ill make one and see how it work if i dont like it i can alway give to one of my other chara. I should probley make it out of a bone visage for added def. but how much does it cost for one?

I don't really see the point of getting that dream helm, esp for light sorc. I mean, you already have crazy light damage, so the extra light damage on the merc does nothing (either the monsters are already dead, or they are still immune/highly reistant to lightning, in which case the extra dmg still don't help all that much). The purpose of the merc is to deal that big physical dmg, other than holding the stick and be a meat shield.

If you want him to do more damage, something as cheap as a Guillame's Face socketed with a 40% ED jewel (heck, even plain will do) will pwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn the living bejebus out of "Dream".

I just thought that the added %enemy light resist from the Infinity would benifit (which is 53% enemy light resist). Plus the shock pulse from dream would help, but i think its only like 1k more damage. I think you might be right Lightc about it being a waste.

The "-% enemy lightning resists" will ONLY benefit the Merc and NOT THE PLAYER.

If the Merc does Lightning damage then the lightning resist reduction on Infinity will help him. That reduction WILL NEVER EVER help anyone EXCEPT for the Merc.
