MF build?

Howdy. I am currently interested in starting a MF Sorc as i have just received Full Tal's Set.

But I am currently in a dilemma which build would be best suited for a MF wearin Full Tals.

Im thinking it would be between Lightning with a Infinity on merc?
Or a Meteorb sorc.

If anyone could help me with opinions on a good MF build that using Full Tals it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an infinity already? If so I'd go with lightning. Add lightning facets into Tals to increase dmg, but note that perfect facets are worth more than the tals.

If you don't have infinity yet, then meterorb, or the orb-it-all build from socialism (less fire dmg but more orb dmg; more balanced for baal runs)

I started with a meteorb, didnt like it.
Started a Blizz, fell in loved with it as it can literally boss in like <10 seconds.
I have infinity on my Merc which handles all the cold immunes which pretty much kicks *** as i just stand there and static the crap out of them ;)

Then again, read the guides that are on this forum and see which one looks more appealing to you ;)

That's funny, majority of cold immunes can't be broken by infinity, so you must be meaning your merc fights them.

If Infinity isn't too difficult for you to obtain, I can't recommend anything other than pure light. Most light immunes can be broken, and anything that isn't will go down easily with some decent gear. I started with a FO/CL sorc to build up some wealth, but now she's just a hell mule in full tals. While my lite sorc takes a back seat to my trapper, I couldn't imagine playing anything else as a sorc except a melee build.

The best thing about lite is that it allows you to be versatile (at least with an infinity). I don't even static bosses anymore, its just faster to shoot them. (Granted, I currently top out at 36k before BO). If she wasn't level 90 with one of my favorite names, I probably would have rebuilt and refined her like I did with my trapper.

Seconding Egai.

If you have or can get Infinity: go for pure Light.

If you don't want that/can't get that, then go for pure Blizzard (in my opinion Frozen Orb is too weak).

And yes, for the most part it's pointless to have Infinity on a cold sorc (but ownage with a Light sorc).
