View Full Version : Gameplay Video - amazing...

Hey there,

I just wanted to chime in and post about the gameplay video. I watch that thing at least 2-3 times / week, scouring for detail, and tiny little things that I miss, like the zombies with arrows sticking out their bodies. Last night, after my 20th watch, I caught something that I don't know how I could have possibly missed. It's the section where the barbarian opens up a chest and 5 or 6 stacks of gold pop out. Not the wraith trap, but the chest just before the skeletal archers. My eye has always been drawn to the gold littering on the floor, but at the back of the screen, you can clearly see the silouhette of the Siegebreaker lumbering down a passageway and you can clearly see his massive metallic claws...unbelieveable that I missed that for the first 20 or so times. So it got me thinking that maybe there are other little details that I'm missing...anyone have any other hard to notice but cool moments from the gameplay video?

Also, I can't wait to play this game!!!

Strangely a number of people missed that event, which boggled a lot of people (who noticed it the first time). :D
Its always nice to simply overlook a detail like that and then (much) latter realize its existence.

The first time I watched, I noticed the Claws but didn't realize they were claws. I thought they were some sort of worm-like creature. It wasn't until I adjusted the brightness of my screen and looked again that I realized the silhouette was mr. siegebreaker.

After watching a few times I just noticed when the Barbarian first uses whirlwind, he swings through some zombies leaving half torsos still crawling along the ground. They were there for a good 20 seconds and the Barb never went back to finish them off. Very creepy

It would have taken too long to come back for them. I find it cool that the fat zombies keep coming at you.

I just noticed yesterday that if you put a black light on the screen, and look really closely at the rainbow in the waterfall, you can make out the words, "D3 Nov. '09"

Go look, I swear it's there ;)
