Hi guys,
Was huge fan of DII and looking forward to DIII (although I will prob buy it 1-2 years after release since I like to get games whole with there expansion's + full patched up at a cheaper price than buying them when they first come out).
What really made DII for me was ATMA being able to collect and store all your in game loot....
Is there word on someone developing such a program for DIII?
Thanks

Can't work on it before DIII comes out...
Indeed. In order to start development on such a program the user would require some knowledge of how the characters are stored, so until D3 is actually released it's not possible.
any chance blizzard would create such a system themself? They seem to want to make things easier for people on bnet. Why not do the same for single players?

I never used ATMA.... but blizzard has said they want to make it easy to transfer items between your characters. Fans think that means a mail system, or (more likely) shared stash...

Blizzard also notoriously ignores the SP community.
I doubt there is much difference between the SP game and the MP game. SP will probably mean you run through it yourself. I don't think you'll see SP the way you do in DII.
I wouldn't have thought it'd be an TQ sized improvement on D2 rather than another HGL-like blatant MP incentive. Of course in that game the TQ equivalent of ATMA/plugy, Vault, was really useful too.
Even if the guys behind ATMA or plugy will be trying for a repeat performance for D3 I wouldn't expect to see a semi-stable release for a long time after D3's release.

Wow, such restraint. Great fun that way, to get it all, just don't think I'd have the willpower myself.
I generally do that to with most games, but D3 will be an exception (just like D2 and 1 was).
