You got to be kidding me. The character I used to mule can logged in fine, but whenever I try to join game, I would be stuck at the "Please wait" prompt. This last for whole 5 minute, enough time for the mule game to disappear. No thanks to this, I lost a nigma and a druid torch.

Eh, **** happens. Even if you test the game before dropping anything by rejoining with the intended mule (did you do that?), there can still be problems. I'm afraid the only truly reliable way is to have two accounts running simultaneously on two computers.

I´m pretty sure you're exiting and rejoining too fast, in which the game gets stuck in the loading page. On slow systems it can take minutes to recover from that (but that's my personal experience). On faster systems it usually takes a bout 20 seconds.

Also can happen after a games you are in crashes.
Solution in this case is to go into the game with a different character and pick up your items. Meanwhile it will take 5-10 minutes for your mule character to become unlocked.

Yes, I did try to rejoin the game with another character. The problem is all character in that account can not join any game. Thus, I exist the game, reboot router, and try to join the room with character from another account, but it's already gone.:banghead: It's the second or third mule transfer I had done in that room, so it's already perm. I usually wait 5-15 min before switching to another mule, so far that manage to greatly reduce R/D problem. This is something new to me.

I never had that the whole account was on 'Bnet's all-seeing-eye' . Switching accounts might have helped. You can also always ask for someone on the forum here to check out your mule game or bring your items to safety. It almost always works in the ETF.

That's because I didn't get locked out at the loading screen, I get stuck at the "Please Wait" prompt, my screen never goes to loading screen where a door slowly opening. I'm sorry if I confuse you in my initial post. I never heard of this happening to anyone either. That's why I posted it here. I think the game I was in crash, and thus I was unable to rejoin.

Now I finally understand why "Shared Stash" is the most request change for 1.13 patch on the official bnet forum. Many people here probably lost much more valuable items than me during mulling.

Possibly. Still it's a good suggestion to let someone trusty on the forums here help you. You can mule the most valuable items with a trade screen, which prevents losing it.

Delay at "Please Wait" is an indication you have r/d. Sometimes it gets glitched and you are not thrown out to the account screen. Yes you need to switch IP at this point or get a friend to help.
It slightly possible your local D2 was corrupted in memory, restarting D2 solves this.

I use a second copy of D2 and second computer to mule, and only transfer in trade screen.
