avoid while strafing?

Just wondering if you can avoid while in the middle of a strafe, so I can figure out how many pts i can put into it. strafing means being in 1 spot quite a bit, so just wondering if an archer or oblivion night sneaks onto the edge of the screen while in midstrafe, if its possible for avoid to kick in or not :)

Avoid does work while strafing, however if you do avoid something all arrows left in the strafe sequence will miss.

Sometimes it's better to take the damage and leech life back from the hits rather then to avoid and be locked in place fireing arrows that miss.
