I have natures peace by nil does CE on the corpse my merc makes, I take off my mercs insight and try to kill him but some how my tank (my merc) dies very quickly, and then I try to kill him first but all his minions around him kill me -______-
So I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to kill nil with a meteorb...

step one: read this (http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=595668)
step two: don't use a merc for nihlathak runs.

At times, though rare, Nihl spawns FECE, so a merc is sometimes necessary for Meteorb/FBOrb. A Sol'd Glad's Bane and smart tele'ing works fine if you don't have RIP.
I've found Nihli as meteororb to be a cake. That's even with crap gear when it took 3-5 meteors to take him down. It's all about being mobile, never standing still longer than it takes for you to launch a meteor. I always bring my merc with me, he soaks a lot of the arrows and get the boars attention so that I can just bounce around and launch meteors down on Nihli.
One thing though, if the entire area is crowded with vipers or Nihli is fire immune it's usually a good idea to just call it off. You usually end up dead or having spent to much time killing him.

Darksight helm for the cloak of shadows then meteor from afar? That might help, although i've never tried it.

I myself wouldn't run it without a merc, but that's my preference. I rarely worry about CE killing him, it's the vipers that cause him the most grief. If he was more susceptible to death, I'd rethink taking him along. Granted, I don't use a meteororb and typically kill nil n just a few hits, so your mileage may vary.
