ES or Vita light sorc?

Hello, im currently trying to build a Light sorc for MF and maybe some dueling purposes(you never know when a noob will low host your other chars in LLD/MLD games), im wondering if im gonna go pure Vita or ES on my sorc...

My gear goes like this:

Helm: Griffons.
Weapon: (i haven't found one yet but im trying to find it)Infinity.
Armor: Vipermagi socketed with Um.
Gloves: Up'd Magefist (gonna get non-up'd, too high req)
Belt: Arach.
Boots: Waterwalks or Silkweave(depends on what i choose, haven't got Silkweave yet but i've got a pair of WT43s too.)
Ring1: Stone of Jordan.
Ring2: Rare, +10 fcr, +18 ar, +1 str, +8 dex, +70 mana, +10 all res.
Amulet: Maras20
SWITCH: CTA4 and Lidless

Charms: Lots of MF scs (5, 6 ,7s. some with res), life charms, mana charms. (haven't gotten a torch yet, im gonna buy infinity first then buy the best torch i can get for the remaining hrs)

So with the gear stated and a torch i would have a skill bonus of 8, i calculated on d2items.com and i can't get up to 95% abs on ES without light skillers (which i can't afford on NL), i can get up to 72% absorb on ES with 9 hard points in TK and ES but doing this i will sacrifice lightning damage..

If i go Vita i will get higher damage and life but i won't be able to have more than 1 ES and 1 TK which seems useless IMO, what should i do? i want to use both charged bolt and lightning..:scratchchin:

I was in the same boat trying to figure out the best build for my new lightning sorc and I choose the Vita route for two reasons. 1. As you stated without maxing TK ES is weak and you will sacrifice damage, and 2. I play almost exclusively PvM and manaburn + blood mana = quick death. Holding a Spirit and one charm with 5%fhr hits the 8 frame recovery breakpoint combined with extra life should keep me alive long enough to get the heck outta dodge before I die.

With your wealth you'd have no problem surviving with Vita build. Why waste skill points and gear configuration on ES?

I'd only use ES for an all-out PvP char. And I hate that skill :P

If you go ES for PvP, avoid the mirror match.
One good hit from a lightning sorc will drain your entire blue orb.
I think it has something to do with your resists not taking effect until after ES does.

k, i got help from my friend Tcpgeest and im gonna go with maxblock/vita, thanks tho. Now i know ES is for PvP :D

Go all out offensive! Teleport around melting your foes, you wont need the ES, and the damage output is heinous!!

Max Block however is great, you can duel too, fry some barbarians! Use a Whitsans to reduced dex requirement for full block, and a 4 Ist Shield for MFing.

Um, I don't understand why you'd be maxing block when you plan on wielding an infinity polearm. If you've changed your setup, I still couldn't go for block and would go max vita. You aren't taking a spirit away from my casters, except maybe if I made a bonemancer, but he'd probably have one too.
