low level harmony question

I tried searching for answers but to no avail! I'm having a hard time accessing Arreat Summit as well :(

What I'm looking to do is make a low level harmony. According to http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Runeword there is no clvl restriction on the runeword. So I was thinking about possibly making one for the vigor, and if it would be low level, it would help when leveling up new characters and also for running LK

So first question, is there a clvl requirement? If not, what is the lowest level 4os bow that I could put it in? And is this bow shoppable or is it something I should run the pits for?

Harmony requires a Ko, which has the lvl req of 39. So you will have to be minimum lvl 39 to use the runeword.

the principle from krem's response is that the clvl req of the runeword will depend on either the base item or the rune contained within that has the highest clvl req.

Regarding the Runeword, there are no "bow" restrictions. Every bow in the game, outside of the Short/Edge/Spider has the ability to drop with 4 sockets. You could technically put Harmony in a 4os Hunter's bow. However, most would agree, this would be a colossal waste.

Excellent point; I was wondering, what is the best weapon to use Harmony in? Would the huge speed increase on the Demon Crossbow make sense, considering the zon will be untwinked (and theoretically, may not actually get a ko rune anyway)?

The natural(and best (for an amazon)) choice is a +3 Matriarchal bow

you could always use harmony in a cheap bow on switch and your 'real dmg' bow as main. i do this for my javazon (though javs/shield obviously), and use the vigor to advance through areas. it's very effective

A double bow would be the best non-zon bow to put it in if you wanted to start using it at the minimum level of 39; its the best -10wsm bow a L39 can use.

However, a blade bow would be a much more useful Harmony through Hell mode, if you have the patience to wait 6 more levels to use it at L45.

A Matriarchal Bow is perfect, though, right at L39 and with much better damage and +3 bow skills, if you're making it for an Amazon.

they are right, plus you can keep it as a switch weapon later, great for phys immunes etc.

That will be the best. However, 4os Matriachal bow is pretty pricey since it can also be used for Faith. For practical consideration, I think ceremonial bow might be better choice since it can be obtained for a fraction of matriachal bow.

I would go for a +2 Matriarchal bow, before a Ceremonial bow.

But anyhow, a +3 Matriarchal isnt that expensive(atleast on Europe)
