Hello everyone! I currently have a lvl 75 amazon. I've been running some nm mephisto and getting lucky so everything but titan's and raven frost rings I've found myself. I'd appreciate some help with gear choices.
I have maxed CS, LF and currently maxing out LS. My LI backup skill is strafe with buriza. I have taken valkyrie and put ~5 hard points to it as well as 3 hard points to piercing.
My current gear:
stealskull
titan's/buriza
vipermagi
2xraven frost
rare resist amu
mavina belt
mavina gloves
crappy rare boots
I just found razortail but I'm confused about the "piercing attack" mod. I've read somewhere that it means 33% piercing. I have now like 60% piercing (I'll get +skills mods later, I'm sure) so with razortail I'd have 100% piercing, right?
Also if I use the razortail belt I'll lose the huge strength set bonus from mavina's gloves, which allows me to use buriza as a switch. I have 80 hard points in strenght already. I don't want to add more points when I hopefully will get a torch later.
Also I need IAS but I'm cautious because of the breakpoints. I feel like I might be adding IAS but gaining nothing because I'm confused about all the different charts floating around the internets. Could somebody tell me how much IAS I need to hit some basic breakpoints with LF/CS/strafe?
Also, I've found bonehew to give my future merc to. What should I socket it with? Does shael help him (breakpoints again) ? I'll give him stealskull as fast as I get myself shako - is 5ll enough or should I put amn in the bonehew also? More importantly, does a shael help buriza any or should I put nef in it to get knockback?
