Max Block is the highest chance of blocking you can achieve, 75%. Get a good shield, then boost dexterity as needed (more will be needed with each level-up)
Notes:
1. Check your character screen for your actual chance of blocking (hover over defense). The value listed on your shield is not your effective chance to block.
2. Blocking is reduced to 1/3 while running. The cap is also reduced, so your maximum chance to block while running is 25%.
3. This is the Diablo 3 board.
I hate the blocking system in D2. It was overpowered. I much prefer the new kind with damage reduction instead of negation.

Block no longer blocks all damage. You can have 75% chance to block but despite blocking you will still take some damage. No doubt certain bosses will have unblockable melee attacks in addition to the usual assortment of spells (ignore blocks).

who said already? :S
p.s. if you have block, could you something like use something like mirror / shield that shines and reflex all spells back :scratchchin:

Henceforth , the shield of deflection (general suffix) is born where there is a 100 % chance of all damage blocked to be reflected to whoever deals the damage
To be honest I believe you posted this in the wrong section, I guess you are talking about Diablo 2 max block, huh?
If I'm wrong I apologize

Lol man! Thats so fked up lol
Europe is the realm where most bumps are randomly given. I will not tolerate such behavior anymore. Bumps like:
'' Your posting in the wrong forum gtfo''
'' your spam was reported''
'' reported''
''+1 for spam''
'' reported retard''
If I see these again I will warn you and suspend you instantly. If you see a spam topic, REPORT THE POST AND MOVE ON. Bumping it for any reason will bring the spam topic in the top50 topics again so you will also be considered as a spammer and suspended even if you reported the spam.
