infinity merc question

ok, infinity gives a level 12 conviction aura to my merc.

say, if i were to equip my merc with andy (+2 skills) and a valor (+2 skills), would it make the aura lvl 16?

nope.

"casts when equipped" always stays at the specified level. There's no way to boost it.
