Energy Shield

Is energy shield applied before or after resistances? I've searched this forum quite a bit and can't get a solid consensus. I've heard that there was a bug that applied resistances after ES, but I havenn't played for a while so I was wondering if this has been fixed or not. It will play a big role in how I build my enchantress.

To clarify, resistances are applied after damage taken to your mana via ES. (you asked opposing questions)
Thus resistances are but very marginally useful when using ES.

except for Poison Resists. poison (and Open Wounds) damage bypasses pretty much all the armour spells (ES, Bone Armour, Cyclone Armour etc)

- Crushing Blow too. It just blows your bones into dust.
- Btw that ES ''bug'' was indeed a feature, it simply worked that way before v1.10
