Well to be more precise its Lv2 Amplify Damage break Physical Immunes. Although i was dissapointed at how small the radius is, i am quite impressed you can break Physical Immunity at all.

With 7fpa bow, its not hard to trigger the 5% chance to cast either....

my eyes have been opened.

its super nice, and a cornerstone of any physical-heavy build. Though, even with broken immunity, most natively-PI monsters will still have 80 or 90% physical resistance....so, especially when they're Stone Skin bosses, it can take a long time to actually kill them. But at least its still doable :)

Another thing you may not know but will be glad once you do.....Decoy is an awesome skill for bowzons. Monsters LOVE to attack your decoy, it gives you the ability to neutralize entire swarms of monsters at a time.

-Cast it next to you if you're getting swarmed, and it will suck up most of the fire coming at you, giving you a chance to leech back your life and thin down the swarm.

-Cast it in between you and a pack of ranged or caster monsters, and it will basically become a wall since they'll ignore you and keep firing at your decoy.

-Cast it at the edge of the screen and it will activate all the monsters past there and lure them into strafe range, or bring them all together to LF if you're hybrid, without exposing you to any ranged fire.

-Cast it behind you if your valk/merc are already fighting ahead of you and there's monsters coming up from behind as well, and it'll keep anything from getting close to you.

-Cast it around corners and down hallways in WSK to scout for Black Souls

I was very pleased when I discovered how utilitarian Decoy is when you know how to use her

Decoy...Good enough to substitute valkyrie?

I wouldn't use it to replace valk- the cast rate for amazons is fairly slow, and I'd rather spend those frames on an attack than on casting a new decoy every time I engage an enemy cluster. It's very good as a supplement, though, as you can cast it at will to relieve pressure from your merc and valk, and you can use it to cluster or stall enemy groups.

Atma's is indeed useful. Got a little overconfident with my melee zon and got killed by a godly ghost mob backed by a godly mob of spear chucking vipers + being amp'd myself. First time I ever died from something other than Iron Maiden. Didn't try it with my strafe zon, she was using dracs intead.

I only need decoy when there are oblivion knights or those winged chicks that amp and shoot those missles. Souls are HARMLESS to my mage zon:P
Do decoys dodge? I don't see any animations. Lasts a long time at a high level with alot of +skills items. Lasts longer than my merc I swear.

Amp damage is ok but sometimes I get tired and just use Magic arrow/charged bolt. Hey it works. :p

I just swapped mercs for my melee zon. Another item that is also highly overlooked, is Reaper's Toll, perfect for A2 mercs. Works great for all kinds of phy builds, even wind druids. That has a 33% chance to cast decryptify, much better chances than 5%, and amp doesn't slow their attack speed so I actually can get attacks off more often meaning quicker kills. If you got an ethereal one, that's better than ebotd or edoom because of the curse + a 33% chance for a deadly strike.

If your pvm build is dependent on a way to deal with phy immunes, Reaper's Toll is a must for your merc. Test it out yourself and you'll see.

Lost a little speed and AR, but it's worth the cost, until you scream your neck off after your merc dashes to his doom with agaisnt the usual suspect contributed to more melee character's deaths than all ubers combined....

I'll 2nd (or 3rd) using Atma. My strafe mavazon uses atma, goblin toe, with might merc + infinity. It's a fun relaxing build to play.

I play her when my friend decides to play with her harmony zon. She uses def + insight, so the two of us have a blast just clearing everything.

Reaper's Toll is good too - my 93 hammer uses that of all things. :)

Have to admit i found it a bit slow. I finished my Hybrid now, and chose Charged Strike over Guided Arrow. Now i just CS the Phys immune bosses. vaped in seconds. Got Catseye instead of Atmas ....

Another one for the hybrid crowd. ;)

Charged Strike is gooood even vs bosses since it requires no AR !

I used an Atma's for awhile on my strafing/FA bowazon in conjunction with an upped WWS (2% CtC lvl 5 Amp Dmg). Amp Dmg triggered quite a bit, I guess because each arrow got looked at twice to see if a cast succeeded. Still not dependable enough for me, but it was nice because I could usually counter PI/CIs without resorting to Magic Arrow.

I loved my little WWS...miss it dearly on ladder.
