I remember being scared of Diablo boss in DI. But then it was simply because I was younger. I was 15 or so back then.

The scariest has to be butcher in D1 ... that change in pace was astounding ,
the game was slow and relaxed , albeit a little dark. all the monsters prior to opening that door was 1 - 2 hit ko

then when you open the door to this room , suddenly ... AHHHH fFreeShh Meatt

and you get walloped by a fast seemingly impossible to kill butcher.

The only thing thats ever been scaring in the diablo games is the butcher in D1, i remeber seing him for the first time when i was about 9 years old.

But besiedes that thers nothing.

We used to play Diablo 1 at my buddies house for hours. The computer screen provided the only light in the room. Lets just say its extremely difficult to chose whether to go to the bathroom, or pee your pants. Luckily we learned that keeping the lights on made it way less scary. And the Butcher was crazy...

Can't say I was ever scared of Diablo (when I first tried it I was like 6 and I was like "OMG SO COOL LOLZ LETS KILL SOME MORE!" and never really paid attention to the atmosphere). But I can imagine being scared, especially with the lights off lol.

Can't say Diablo was scarey but The Butcher was one mean ugly nasty looking thing. :)
