Phoenix and Met Orbers

I have a Tals Met Orber that i especially love to play. I was toying with the idea of altering some things. Anyone attempt to use Phoenix shield with this build? Would like some thoughts on it. To use the shield tho i would have to give up nice Tals set advantages like all that fhr combined with Spirit---which ik has saved me more than once.

You don't give up any set advantages, since the Spirit Monarch is not part of the set. You will, however, not be able to reach the important 105 FCR breakpoint anymore by giving up on the Spirit. Even with 2 FCR rings, you'd only reach 90 FCR.

No, what i meant was using phoenix without Tals set. I have a faceted fathom i was thinking of using, then maybe a fireball ormus with 15 cold dmg and an arach. I was thinking of other gear to use with phoenix shield. All the mods with spirit and tals just makes the char less vulnerable over all.

Phoenix shield on a metorb is a bit of a waste imo.

The %ED does not help you at all and I doubt the Redemption helps a sorc much at all.
