Good Morning all, this week I had decided to revamp a little of my non fiery runes series wallpapers and give it a name; a rather bland generic name but it’s a change from the concept art series. Also I created a nameplate for this series as well. It’s a little different, and I experimented with it over 4 times. What you see is the end result, and I hope it’s not too crazy and busy for a nameplate.

This series I thought I’d start back at the beginning of the Diablo III scene with the cinematic trailer. I know blizzard did a screen of the demon invasion, but I thought I’d add my touch to it with some of my trademark touches. The Des-Systema in the background always seems appropriate for most of my non fiery runes wallpapers. The plain black background just never looks right anymore I don’t know why.

The idea for this wallpaper came also from a fan asking about a wallpaper of Diablo from this same trailer. Thought about making a newer version of it with better sizes, but that changed when I realized I hadn’t done a demon invasion wallpaper yet. So what you see is an idea that I thought turned out rather nice.

Also as a last note I have completed Behind the Fiery Runes (http://www.diablowiki.net/Fanart:Behind_the_Fiery_Runes) section from the Diablowiki as well as Fiery Runes Series (http://www.diablowiki.net/Fanart:Fiery_Runes_Series) and will make revisions as time goes on. Go check them out I put some time into them.

With that thanks everyone for your support, comments, and everything else in this community. After all I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you guys!

Evening guys! After looking at my latest wallpaper, and some of the comments people have mentioned, and as well as from some of my family and friends. This wasn’t one of my best wallpapers. I apologize for that and I have since revised the wall a little bit, and hope this version looks a little better. I’ll quote a post from Liraco from d3armory.com:

“ ‘White space’ is your friend, don't fear it. “ – Liraco d3armory.com (http://www.d3armory.com/forums/topic/5299/)

With that I’ve taken out the extra two images at the bottom, and centered everything up a little better for a must cleaner more streamlined look. Hopefully this time the wallpaper’s point will get across better.

I agree, much better after removing the two images at the bottom.

Looks sweet, man.
I completely understand why you would try to sneak those two pictures in at the bottom tho, that section of the teaser video was so epic it's hard to let great captures like that slide by for the sake of it being less "cluttered". Oh well, some things just have to be done. Haha.

By the way, i love the logo in the background and the one at the bottom of the image, are these your own?

the nameplate where the d3logo sets in, yes. Though i lost that image along with the last 6 weeks of graphics experiments and wallpaper betas. I'll rebuild it and make it all over again, who knows, i might even be able to salvage parts from my artwork on the site. Btw that alchemy in the background, VioletJoker used that for a wallpaper of his, I've been using it with most of my art since he posted it. I always gave em credit for it. I finally made my own alchemy from the blizz logo too, but i lost that data in the Hard Drive failure.

Oh well, ill just rebuild and make even better art. Iv'e already started sketches for my nameplate for series 4. People like my current FRS3 name plate, this next one is gunna be alot more of my own work and less of blizzard's images. It was only a matter of time. Now you all will get to see me really push myself. My love for graphics art is always pushed and i have everyone here and on all the websites i post that gave me all the suggestions, critisism, and much more; a big thanks.

Us artists are nothing without the people to look at our work.

Sounds good.

I am very impressed by the high quality of work you have done with implementing Blizzard artwork with a little of your own to make really powerful combinations!

I definitely made the right decision to ask you to make a wiki page for yourself! =)

It will be very interesting to see how you'll be able to make as powerful things without Blizz art, or with less.
