This just in from the "Did You Know or Do You Really Care" Dept:

Just started working on a new WW Barb. As with any new barb I started him off with a Khalim's Will, play him with whatever else can be purchased from Charsi, and with him buffed by my singer & a Demonlimb he mows through Act I no problem, play him till lvl 13 so I can toss on some +5 str lc's and then equip him with Sigons & Angelics stuff. So then I continue to level him to about 18 or 19 when I finish Act II. So now I have to replace the Khalim's Will so I can quest through Act III. I might normally go back to Act II until I can get him to 22 or 21 so I can switch out the Will for a Hellplague or General La Di Dah flail or something like that. But since this guy is eventually going to wield a pole I decided that just wasn't right even though he could have certainly done fine with that. I really wanted to see him with a big stick. None of the poleaxe's that I could use at lvl 19 excited me too much so I got the bright idea of looking at the spears, and lo and behold there's Bloodthief Brandistock, my all time favorite "first equipped" Act II Merc weapon. I have never ever used it for anything else. So I slap that sucker on, get buffed and wreak absolute havoc through Act III & Act IV (using Conc). That was fun! :) A very welcome break from the incessant key hunting I've been doing, that's for sure.

Badass. I sometimes wish I had gone polearm, with so many experienced players advocating it.

Bloodthief FTW !!!

I like to use the Dimoak Hew Pole on my new druids and act 2 mercanaries . Coupled with sigons armor and hat = pwnage for normal ...

Also I just recently made a Strength polearm when I found an Eth 2 os low stick . My sorc merc was a killer with that Roonword ..

I've been keeping my Act I merc for this guy, and just slapped an Edge roonword bow on her at lvl 26. Very effective in normal!! Currently leveling in Act IV River and mowing through it like a hot knife through butter. :) 'course pre-buffing with demonlimb doesn't hurt that's for sure. :)

A little update from the DYKoDYRC Dept:

Leveled my WW Barb until he could switch to Hone Sundan, then just this morning I hit lvl 56 so I could equip him with my up'd Ribby socketed with Shael. Now THAT'S fun. I love the sound a ribby make when spinning... wack-wack-wack-wack!!! He's glitching NM Baal without even breaking a sweat.

Would someone tell me once and for all what glitching Baal is? Does it mean creating the game with a character who needs the quest and then having him leave before the runner kills 'em?

1. Create the game with a character who has done the quest.
2. Join the same game with a character who needs the quest.
3. Then the Q log will say something like "cannot complete the quest in this game" for the character who haven't done the Q.
4. Kill the target with the character who haven't done the Q - voilą
