Yes, d2 is a bit more playable now with all those ad bots gone from the chat screen! Now, if they would just fix a few other things...

Oh crap. You're right...hmmm. I wasn't lying though. I was on all day and it looked like Blizzard did something about the ad bots. They have come back though.

blizzard can't even keep ads off of WoW, then there is definitely nothing they can do for d2 currently.

I wonder what they are cooking up for b.net 2.0?

lol I was like "really?!" Then I saw this was posted yesterday. Every game I played last night was getting hammered more than usual. I was hoping that somehow the stepped up aggression of spam had made blizzard finally take notice. No such luck :-(

Blizz isn't going to do anything about bots in d2. If they release another patch for D2 before D3 comes out, which is doubtful, they might include something to handle the bots, but thats highly doubtful. They have more important things to worry about, like D3, WoW, and SC2.

Until Blizz don't get rid of dupers on D2 (never) I won't play D2 again.

I can tolerate spam bots, mf bots but NOT dupes!!

PLEASE REMOVE THE AD BOTS BLIZZARD IT GETTING RIDICLOUS AGAIN!.

i bought the game so i can enjoy and play. not be bothered by commercials with spam text so large and so bad i can even see the screen to play. the spam bots messages try and cover the whole screen. i get 4 when i join right off the bat then 1 5 during playing runs.

it dosent make any sense but this world dosent run off sense.

I think SC1 got patched not so long ago. But than again, it is the official sport of Korea.

bots...... as if blizz can take every single one of them out, what i say, let them think about Diablo 3, all staff from d2 go to d3 AND MAKE THIS GAME COME OUT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

There is a simple way to prevent bots from spamming your game, but it's just that people are lazy :doh:

He means using the options to set lvl restrictions. More or less all bots are lvl 1, therefore no more bots ;)

I usually mute all lvl 1 in my game. NO questions ask. Getting grushed is also ranks as a lowly act to me as well. ;p

I will stop most rushes after ancients and WILL attempt to kill baal solo if I am comfy enough.

Get a lvl or two from killing some 10 monsters in normal? Or to tag along 1 chaos run. Besides what are you going to do in hell at lvl 1 anyway where bots would be a problem? Anyway don't make it harder than it is, getting 1 or 2 lvls shouldn't even take 5 mins.
