Noticed something new about Runes

So I was watching the WWI video for the 16th time, and I noticed something. When the Barbarian is fighting the Lampreys for the first time, a minor power rune drops and he picks it up. However, later on when he gets the armor and opens his inventory again, it doesn't appear. Could this mean that Runes aren't stored in the regular inventory? Might they have their own space? I doubt that they just hadn't programmed it yet, because they should have had the inventory system already.

Could be the case that they didn't design its item space yet, but it could be that the runes can only be seen or used via the skills window (since that's were you will always use them), so their storage window will be there not with the regular items.

They were stored in the skills page at the Blizzcon demo. That was probably the case in the WWI build as well.

Mizantrop, I read that runes only dropped for wizards. What happened when you put them in for spells like Magic Missile or Disintegrate.

They dropped for all, but only did stuff for the wizard. I might be wrong, but I think all they did in the Blizzcon demo was a little more damage and such and didn't affect the skills like like they should (not implanted yet).
