View Full Version : Hi i´m new here.
Just wanted to say hi. Im new here and pretty new at playing d2lod.
I´m the guy you all call noob and laugh at in the trading games. :ashamed:
I play on the EU realm and figured out that the game would be a lot funnier with some friends.

Hi and welcome! I can almost guarantee that anyone who called you a "noob" in a trading game is not a regular member of this forum. You will find that for the most part we are articulate, caring and sarcastic adults.
Enjoy your time here, there is a ton of information to digest if you are at all interested in digging down into the strategy behind builds and game mechanics.

LOL, when D2 came out almost 9 years ago most of us were teens then (I was). I think the game is almost equally split between 25+ year olds and their younger siblings who watched them play for years and got hooked themselves.

Welcome !
Even though the term is derived from the word "newbie", a noob is actually somebody who pretends to know the game, but actually has little knowledge, and makes a fool out of himself by refusing to accept corrections of the nonsense he tells most of the time, often in a rather rude manner.
So I guess you aren't a noob, but a newbie. That's not a problem at all, else we wouldn't have a forum for them ;)
