Basically a rating thread; I would like to know if you guys think I can do organ runs and ubers with my fishymancer. Gear suggestions are also appreciated.
Skills:
20 Raise Skelly
20 Raise Mage
20 Skelly Mastery
20 CE
1 to Clay golem and golem mastery
1 to Summon Resist
1 to Decrep and Amp Damage
1 to prereqs
Leftovers into Revive
Gear:
Shako
Enigma
Mara's
Wizardspike
Spirit Mon
Arach's (formerly had gloomstrap planned)
Marrowwalks
Magefists (formerly had frostburns planned)
Manald heal
Raven frost (the rings I'm probably going to change, but I haven't specifics yet)
Merc gear (might merc):
Cryptic axe insight [this is planned to be changed to Infinity in an eth CV, hence the frostburns for mana]
Duriel's shell cuirass thingy (i forget what it's called, but this is planned to be changed to a good fort anyways)
Vamp gaze (might change to tal's mask, have to figure out still if fort will cover the res)
I'm willing to spend/find however much I need to get the best gear I can.
I'm not on a comp that I can play D2 on so I might have missed some stuff, but I think this pretty much sums it up. All feedback is appreciated.

You should't have too much problems collecting organs except if your merc keeps dying when doing Lilith.
For ubers, as long as you are able to revive 15-20 udars you should be fine. Be ready to revive a few times and it will take a while.
Skills:
only put 1 points in revive. It's more than enough. I got like 30+ revive with one point in revive, and I neve revived more than 25...
Do get attract, they are quite useful when dealing with uber's minions.
Gears:
There is room for improvement depending on how much you want to spend, like Hoto, arach, soj or bk... Homu is better than spirit for main switch and it's very cheap. You can use spirit on switch with CTA if you get one later.
Trang gloves = magefist >> Frostburn
Trang got better FCR and +2 curse. You already have insight on merc, so more mana is not needed.
If you do need more mana, get magefist. It will add +1 to CE and provide better mana regen and same FCR as Trang.
I use infinity, so I do have some mana problem. I use mangefist and 2 sojs to accomadate it.

First up, I wanna clear up the reasons I use what I do:
+ skills = LAST thing that you want to focus on.
Spirit and wizzy provide me almost max res, good fhr, and good fcr. I have calculated all this stuff and they only thing I lose from hoto/homunc combo is +3 skills. If I wanted max res with hoto/homunc I would have to have almost perfect torch and anni to reach max res, not to mention I will be short of the 75% fcr breakpoint and the 55% fhr from spirit (with 1% more fhr I get a breakpoint). I could cover up the fcr with rings but there are other mods that are also useful on the rings I use and quite honestly not worth the extra 3 +skills (since skellies barely do any good damage anyways). SOJ and BK are the same thing, they only offer +skills and a little bit of mana and life but I can get that from other rings, plus more beneficial mods.
Trang gloves offer nothing because with the fcr now I don't reach the next breakpoint, the skills again aren't that useful, and I'll probably need more mana.
I stated before that I will be switching insight to infinity, hence the need for mana.
You're right about the magefists over frostburns though, I hadn't remembered that they had the mana regen. Same with CTA, I forgot it even existed :P

179 Total, whats the problem with this? If you have some wealth to get a bit higher torch + hoto/mara/anni, you can even socket homu with something else. With homu you can also get max block easy.

Exactly what I think. Plus spirit has zero fire resist and 156 strengh requirement which mean less points into vitality. So the extra resist you get from Wizzy is only enough to make up for the the fire resist loss due to Spirit. While using Hoto (mid one of 35 resist)/Homu(pdimond) combo, you will get +94 resist ALL vs 110 resist Light/Cold/Poison and 75 resist fire with Wizzy/Spirit combo.
The other thing: Summon necro is all about + skill. You get as many as + skill as possible, and with maxed resist and enough life/block or all vita if you prefer, you are golden. You skeles (not mage though) will be so strong that even uber Diablo/Baal can't do anything to them. FCR and FHR are just gravy if you already have the above.

Skellies are irrelevant. You should only be focusing on the Udars for crushing blow.
