Back to D2, what now?

With the amazing news of D3 and spending alot less time at work i decided returning to diablo 2 would be pretty cool. But, i stoped playing back in patch 1.08 so obviously alot of things have changed. Although im very excited about finding all of the new stuff out, theres one thing that troubles me - rushing. Don't people do it anymore? Are we supposed to run acts/difficultys normaly now? 'Cause it's very annoying going into a game called "act 1 all q" and two minutes later everyone leaves. That's what i've gathered at least from a half-hour of playing.

1.12 is obviously very different from the 08 patch, but in terms of rushing they are still as popular as ever, many people do it all the time. But generally friends rush each other so they' will be mostly in private games, hence you won't find much. Usually public rushers will demand a certain price for his/her efforts, like the hellforge quest, occasionally though, you will find a nice player who will do it for free. Hope that helped a little.

Btw, what realm do you play, I can give you a rush if you need. I'm on East NL.

Giving the hellforge quest isn't much of a problem for me though. Im on europe softocore ladder.
