Chaos claw repair costs?

I'm looking to craft a Chaos runeword claw but I'm worried about repair cost. Doesn't the cost increase with the number of +skills on the claw? Does it also depend on if the claw is exceptional or elite?

I know collecting gold isn't a big deal, but I hate dealing with insane repair costs after every Diablo run and such, something I learned the hard way in the past when I crafted other runeword weapons.

Usually superior items have much much higher repair costs than non superior items..

Now that you mention it the repair cost of my Chaos/Fury claws is insane (like 350,000k when you knock 2 dura off each claw). Its kind of annoying because they seem to degrade pretty fast.

Don't worry about the cost , lol I'm sure 350000 is too expensive.

Use the horadric cube combination, sadly I forgot what it was...... Been away from d2 for ages... Can someone lighten up here? Whats the formula of repairing an item in a cube?

Ral rune + item that needs to be repaired iirc.

From the arreat summit website:

1 Ort Rune + Weapon = Fully Repaired Weapon
Use this Rune + Your Horadric Cube to repair your weapon. You cannot repair Ethereal items.

1 Ral Rune + Armor = Fully Repaired Armor
Use this Rune + Your Horadric Cube to repair your armor. You cannot repair ethereal armor.


Btw, you can get ort runes easy by doing act5 quest2, you always get ral ort tal :D

My chaos suwayahh has +1 venom and costs about 20k to repair all the way. using superior costs a crazy amount. but 20k every couple runs aint bad to me. I wish it had +1 dragon flight though but no biggy.
