concentrater barb

Hi all, well my concnentrate barb's now lvl 26, 100 str-(battlehammer), 20 dex, 40 vit, have 45 stats saved up, was wondering if i should put point's into dex for max block with shield. For skill's i got.

lvl 1 skill's in bash, stun, mace mastery, ironskin, howl.

lvl 20 shout.

lvl 3 battle order's. :jig: -(opss sorry listening to rock around the clock on radio)

planning on putting 1 skill point into berserk-(pesky physical imunes).

after i max BO, i plan on putting ironskin/concnetrate to lvl 10 then natural resists.

I know a concentrate barb is slow but her aint gonna be weak going for high defence and hopefully good to mid high damage with a good battlehammer if i ever i git one. useing civerbs cudgel mace right now. I am playing on usewest realms account name nuitariwolf, if anyone wanna give addvice.

This being classic, dex does not affect the chance to block.
What will you use for crowd control ? To keep from being surrounded ?

when surounded, i'll be attacking, but thats why a concenter barb excils in being a heavy duty tank, max shout / bo/ ironskin / concentrate, plus i hold back army for the sorcs to do thier jobs, ww barbs go threw and those monsters aint staying put, they'll go after sorcs/necros so my job as concentrater is hold them in place, they pound me while necros/sorcs/zons do there task.

you'll want 170 str, for ornate armor and its def, being a cencentrate barb (iron barb). also 170 str doesn't hurt as it gives damage too.

u do NOT need dex at all. NO pts into dex.

going BH is a good choice.

this is because BH does the most damage for 1 handers.

also, cencentrate can NOT be interupted, which is really great. being completely surrounded has no effect, nor does the slow BH, u WILL swing and it can NOT be stopped.

i'd point out that u need resists still, as much as u need defense.

for a pure cencentrate (defense) (iron barb), i'd do:

life-vita barb:

170 str, rest into vit.

20 shout, 20 concentrate, 20 iron skin, 20 BO, at least 1 into nat res and mace mastery. depending on resists from gear, rest of pts into either nat res or mace mastery.

OR

def-dex barb:

170 str, rest into dex.

20 shout, 20 concentrate, 20 iron skin, 20 nat res or 20 mace mastery (depending on resists from gear). have at least 1 pt in both nat res and mace mastery
