So I finally made it to act 4 with my paladin but I'm always dying when I activate the seal which summons venom demons. I can't seem to able to kill all of them.
I'm lvl 30 right now. I have holy shock and zeal as high as I can get +2 to both from my weapon. but when all of those creature use their fire blast on me I simply die. I tried using resist fire lvl 1 this time I can't deal enough damage to them to be able to kill them. I will try to use holy freeze lvl 1 (+2 from my weapon) next time but I died at the same spot probably like 10 times.... Any ideas or hints would be appreciated.

PS. I still didn't encounter a single rune for some reason... Am I doing something wrong?

Get some more levels and bring help.

The boss packs from the seals are not to be taken lightly. The skills you have at their levels aren't a help anyways.

It's best to have help and create a town portal somewhere behind where they spawn and then use another townportal to escape and then get behind them.

Most often what happens is they corner you and then you are toast...especially if you are alone.

You did not mention your merc either. Where is he?

What are your resists? If fire is killing you then you should find some resist charms and load up on them if you don't have gear you can switch out with good fire resists.

Don't know why you haven't encountered any runes, that's a miracle in and of itself. You could just go and do your hellforge quest and you would get one rune for sure.

Where can I get a merc at act 4? I didn't know that I could hire one at that act.
I did the hell forge quest I got a perfect gem and some other gems.

Your merc stays with you from Act to Act. To resurect a dead merc in Act 4 go talk to Tryeal and pay him. You can hire mercs in Act 1, 2, 3, and 5. Almost everyone uses Act 2 mercs for their aura.

Oh, and you always get a rune drop from the hellforge, so I'm stumped. Maybe you didn't see it?

You're not playing Diablo Classic are you?

Your best bet is to do what Gorny mentioned. Create a Town Portal just before touching the Seal, then go though the TP back to town. Now use the Waypoint (River of Flame) and walk back to the Chaos Sanctuary. You'll come in behind the monster pack.

Now you can lead the monsters away a few at a time and deal with them in small groups. With the entire CS to play hide-and-seek in you should be able to deal with this group instead of being cornered as you were before.

I try talking to tyrael and there are two options gossip and introduction. Nothing about a merc.

I will now try the town portal trick.

Killed Diablo...
Now how do I go back to west and use wit's leg to go to cow level.

Also
which weapon should I use now
scepter dmg 12-21
+28% enhanced dmg
+2 holy shock
+2 holy freeze
+2 resist lightning
+50% dmg to undead

or bladebone axe
dmg 7-18
+20% increased attack speed
+44% enhanced damage
+100% damage to undead
+40 attack rating against undead
adds 8-12 fire dmg
+20 defense

sorry if I'm spamming.

you'Re not spamming, as you're on topic

use the scepter, but try to get a faster scepter (war scepter) with +3 to holy shock (if possible, also + something to zeal) (jamella sells scepters)

you use the waypoint system to go back to Act 1 or any other act

what you should be doing, though, is go to act 5 and kill baal
if you are playing diablo classic, you don't have act 5 in your game, so you cannot do cows, because, if i remember correctly, only after you kill baal, do you get to use wirt's leg, but i could be wrong
if i'm wrong, go back to act 1 via waypoint and then go to tristram to get the leg (if you don't have it with you), then put it in the cube with a tome of town portal and mix (while still in the rogue camp, or in Act 1)
then a red portal appears and you can go to the cow level

Just cleared cow level thanks tho.
I just installed the expansion pack I guess that was why I didn't get any runes before.

Versus the pit demon seal guardians:

1. Hit and run
2. Drink healing potions a bit earlier than usual... rejuvs only if you are about to die
3. Get more fire res, e.g. by charms or (might be a problem on single player) a Mahim Oak Curio amulet
4. Drop your gold in town, else you will lose a bit each time you die and you might need it for TP scrolls and potions.

Runes:

3 visits to the Countess in normal should give you the runes needed for the Stealth runeword and another 10-20 in nightmare for Rhyme, Lore, Spirit (in a sword), Insight etc, as well as a couple of excess runes. The runes from Larzuk will help at that as well.

Stealth, Rhyme, Lore runewords in here (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords-original.shtml)
Spirit, Insight and a couple of other awesome runewords in here (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords-110.shtml)

The Countess is in level 5 of the Forgotten Tower, found in the act 1 Black Marsh.
