Charms from baal?

Ive heard the GC from baal a good for cuning, but i found a small charm and i thought i save it, though i dont think baal smal charms have any special abilities ?

I would save it if I were you, and try to recube it to get some resistances to all. Very useful, those.

The emphasis is on grand charms, as they have an item level of 99, which is relatively rare. (Nihlathak drops iLevel 99 charms too.) Charms of that level are the only ones that carry the possibility of + skills and + to life of over 40. If you manage to get a +1 to Paladin Combat Skills, + 45 to life, you can trade it for pretty much anything, including busloads full of high runes. Their extremely high trade value doesn't reduce the less esoteric utility of a + resistances to all small charm, though.

I'm assuming you're referring to Hell Baal, of course.

Ok, but cant a smal charm found inn say, cow level, get the same affixes and prefixes as one dropped by baal ? And im talking about hell ball of course :)

Nith drops ilvl 94 Charms, but they can get the same affixes

Allres on SCs doesn't need high-level charms, they need an item level of 47 (nightmare act 2 Lost City and beyond) and they drop even earlier as 10-11% single res SCs.

As said, the only additional affixes from Baal SCs are the highest elemental damage affixes which aren't that useful. You will probably find more SCs than 3x3 sets of flawless gems, so better save them up for Baal/Nihlathak/Diablo GCs which can have 41+ life on top of other decent affixes.

I meant to say that you can as well find enough decent SCs among monster drops (the good ones can drop nearly everywhere in hell mode) while it needs a Baal/Diablo/Nihlathak GC to get the 41+ life affix, so better use your pgems for them.
