I have some ideas for my assassin phoenix strike build with lots of + skill items. To gain most +skill i have to let go full natals. This will cost me 30% PDR, to get this back i like to invest 20 skillpoints into fade and use the treachery runeword for the 45% IAS.

Now, with all +skill items i will have around lvl 35 fade. This will get me 35% PDR (also 1% PDR of soft skill points, right?). The only thing im not sure of is if the 5% ctc lvl 15 fade mod on treachery armor will replace my active fade at that moment and therefor lowering it by 20 lvl's.

Can someone tell me if ctc lvl 15 fade on treachery armor replaces a higher active fade lvl?

If your fade is higher, it will not over write it.

I think Venom doesn't overwrite active higher Venom :P

Just in case it isn't clear...

Fade always overwrites Fade -regardless- of level. BoS follows the same rules, and these two skills will also overwrite each other regardless of level.

Venom is different though: only a Venom of equal or higher level will overwrite itself. Which may ring a bell with you if you're familiar with playing Enchantresses.
