Can you go back to an earlier Act?

I haven't let Charsi imbue anything for me yet. Can I hold off and come back at a later time, or do I really need her to imbue an item before I talk to Warriv after killing Andariel?

If I can go back to an earlier Act, how do I do it?

Yea you can hold back the quest reward and come back anytime you feel like it. To do this just go to the waypoint in found in every town/act, click on it and you'll find options to go to any places you have found wps in. For act 2 it's near one of the sewers entrances with that guy who lends mercenaries whose name escapes me atm beside it :). Hope that helps a little.

if you turn on the automap, you'll see all the nearby wp's as gray squares...

and for later on: if you've finished normal difficulty and moved on to nightmare, you can even come back from there and get your imbue from normal charsi, so at the end of your chars career, he'll have 3 imbues from normal, nightmare and hell charsi respectively. warning: you will lose all the explored maps (not wp's, they're saved), if you move between difficulties, so avoid it if you don't have to
