Anyone play this? I re-installed the original (prophecies) and I am considering getting one of the other campaigns.

I own it and have installed it a few times. I never really got into it though, kept losing interest.
I don't think my 'new' videocardless computer will run it either.
Oh well.
-hps
I looked into it a while back, but kept hearing disappointing things about it.
I can't stand another heart break. You of all people should know that Gabe *runs off sobbing*

I used to Play GW... it was okay... but with the infinite upgrades that you have to purchase.. pfft....
New chapters and what not... the only decent thing I've heard about the game is that they are increasing the size of the "stash" so u can hold more items... and when the game originally came out they thought it wasn't NEEDED... I guess they corrected themselves after all...

I have Prophecies and Nightfall . The games pretty good story wise but I got tired of trying to solo the game and not being able to so its currently uninstalled .
GW used to be such a great game. I never really liked the PvE side of it, but PvP (mostly Guild versus Guild) was awesome. No other game like that - GvG is like a fps and rpg mixed or something. :P
They hosted two 100,000$ events with six guilds participating both times to promote the game, and went to the both events (brag). After they stopped hosting competitions involving money, the competitive side of the game died pretty much. (Another thing was the expansions adding new classes which had influence on the game balance.)
Too bad more people didn't get into GvG when the competitive side of the game was still doing well..

Theres only 4 chapters - released at a rate of about 1 a year - not exactly infinite :D
GW is fine for a bit - not being able to jump off stuff bugged the hell out of me tho - base jumping offa stuff is one of my favourite WoW passtimes.
GW is very pretty tho - and the storyline holds up pretty well too. I picked up the whole thing including all expansions for $18.99 online so it is also pretty cheap.

Played the GW alpha but just didn't care for it a whole lot - it was OK, but it just didn't compel me to play it. Probably should have stuck it out for the beta but I got started playing Runescape with my grandson, a bunch of his friends and the girl I was dating at the time and her kids.

6 Feet Under is an awesome TV series. My wife introduced it to me and together we watched the entire lot back to back (but not in 1 sitting )

Played for some time, probably less than a year. I really got into PvP.
