Hi. I am pretty much a new guy. I have made a couple of ESCL characters:

1. Hammerdin
2. 1 point smiter/zealot
3. Orb/nova sorc
4. WW Barb

I played a lot in the past and am new again....

I usually only played the main characters from regular D2, never really giving much thought to playing the expansion characters. That said I really need help deciding what to play next - I have been searching through the forums and reading guides of all the different races trying to pick one and I am getting overwhelmed.

Pretty sure I want a Druid, but am open to other suggestions. I want PvM and I want everything in the whole game to die when I join. Thats pretty much it. I'm not asking for much :D

Just looking for something cookie cutter that works. Not wanting to try something new... as it will be very new to me. Lastly, I am including this to show you that I "tried" to learn on my own, but all these crazy F'n names... I dont know what to click.

A Wind Druid or a Ribcracker Fury Druid are the most cookie (and arguably most effective) of the Druid builds. If you like casters, go with the former, if you want melee, then try the latter. Good luck.

Windys are fun, very cookie cutter, very successful but pretty expensive. for pvm it just takes 99 fcr and fhr try and amass the most +skills and wear stormshield and get as much life as possible. with max res and max block and dr your giant life, tele and cyclone armour will make you a tough tank that can blow through most. just max the wind side of the ele tree and oak sage. 4-5k life and 5k+ nado is pretty simple with a standard caster set up

Thank you. I will review the two types and then go all in :)
