What is the last fcr breakpoint for barbs? 105? 125? I am currently using two shards and two fcr rings on my singer barb.

Does it matter what vendor and difficulty you gamble at? (or just clvl?)

Does it matter what difficulty you imbue items in? (or just clvl?)

Does it matter when you identify items (clvl)? I heard this was a rumor going around, but I doubt it even though no one probably knows for sure except the blizzard programmers.

Thanks!

in another thread dealing with warcry (singer) barbs, some one said that the FCR BP's scale is the same as a sorc's.

so the 110 FCR is the last BP u can achieve. the next BP is 220 ? or something which isn't possible in classic.

150 FCR is the max a barb can reach (dual-2 shards)
120 FCR is max a non-barb can reach (1 shard)

if the person is indeed correct, than having 150% FCR on your singer war cry barb is a waste.

gambling is ONLY determined by CLVL

gambling in hell difficulty act 4 at clvl 1 is the same as gambling in norm difficulty act 1 at clvl 1

gambling in norm difficulty act 1 at clvl 99 is better than gambling in hell difficulty act 4 at clvl 1.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
the wares (item types ONLY) of SHOPS (NON-gambling) IS EFFECTED by difficulty and act. you wont find a norm act 1 shop selling light plate/mage plate for example.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
the only thing that matters is what monster/object/area and the mf amount of the character who killed the monster (or opened the chest or other object) the dropped item came from in terms of the determination of an item.

the more number of players in game and the more number of players in party and within 2 screens give points toward a greater number of dropped items.

As for the last thing - there were rumors of programs allowing to reveal the statistics of the items without actually identifying them - thus "unid red boneshield" auctions should be omitted (just like the "40 unit rare" rings trades, where people usually put 40 unid rings from normal andariel, that cannot be sojs)

I have been wondering this also, has anyone ever gotten a good item from those unid-packs sold?

Thanks guys, but what about the imbuing? Does it matter what difficulty you are in when you imbue an item from charsi? I know the clvl matters but what about norm vs. nm vs. hell?

Also, I forget, where do I complete the act 3 book quest? (In other words, should a turn a certain way to find the ruined temple or is it completely random? Is there any way to know which one is the correct one?) I've never done book quest before. I don't have the kuraast bazaar wp, what is the next closest one? Can I get there from trav? Thanks!

Difficulty on imbueing doesn't matter.

Donno about the book quest, I never do it :S

CLvl doesn't affect mods on items, people who state their level or ask for it on unid packs are retarded.

The right tomb is called "The ruined temple", well I guess it's a temple then..and it's located at Kurast Bazaar, found near the WP for Kurast Bazaar.

there's two ruined temples, search both. The book will be found in one.

as traderscope answered,

act 3 quest 4 the book quest which gives 5 stat points for u to spend on str, dex, vit, nrg

it is ALWAYS in kurast bazaar.

(this is either due to the quest script being wrong in saying it can be in many "kurast" areas or the game programming is wrong and it was suppose to be in random "kurast" areas but for some reason or mistake is always in kurast bazaar.)

in the kurast bazaar, there are ALWAYS 2 pyramidal buildings. one is the right one, the RUINED TEMPLE, with the book. the other is called....i forgot at the moment...sorry...

usually the only wp's u or others have in act3 is trav and doh2. take the trav wp and run/teleport ("walk") back to the kurast bazaar. it's actually not that hard and does NOT take very long.

and be careful....it (ruined temple) is able to generate the only monster that is immune to an hdin (in hell difficulty).

He's probably thinking of the Gidbinn quest, which I believe is a preset ilvl for each difficulty level and therefore you don't gain anything from leaving it.

Also with gambling, ideally you want to be able to sell the non desirables for as much as you can.

Clvl also plays a factor when determining the base items of shops as well (for normal purchases, not gambling)

The right ruined temple is always the temple thats entrance is upwards. Never from sideways etc. Maybe bad choise of words. Hope everyone understands :)

It's location otherways is random.

I'm just posting the fact that the right tomb has its stairs leading upward on your screen. Everytime. Does not help you find it, but prevents entering wrong temples :)

Anyway, i'm sure you knew this already is just wrote it badly :hang:

To further elaborate :

The correct temple also has 2 rows of 3 torches at the bottom of the stairs.
Look for the correct temple and once you find the correct one, go back outside the temple and remember what the building and entrance look like. It is always the same.
There are always two buildings which look like that, one with stairs(your temple) and one without. Both also have the torches outside.
