Fist Weapons

For those hardcore barbarians that want spiked brass knuckles! Quiabs and Katars were cool and should stay in, but I don't want to be wolverine. I want to punch something with some cool *** fist weapons. Fire enchanted right hand, ice enchanted left ripping through mobs. That' would be killer.

Not a very Barb-Friendly weapon. The Barbarian needs a big old hammer to hit stuff with, not baby-bop assassin claws (though they are cool). The only way I could see this being implemented with the barbarian is maybe a special pair of gauntlets that have Enhanced Damage on them or something.

could be a cool addition, but the base stats would probably have to be pretty low. (and after all, it isn't supposed to be the end of the line weapons either)
- short range, low damage, blunt weapons
could have had low stat requirements aswell,but that is not in the game anymore.

i think they could be pretty high stats and damaging. easy to enchant and have magical powers. easy to have %+dam. also easy skill moderators like crushing blow. ud be surprised how effective your hands can be against traditional weapons, and how damaging a pair of full bracer guantlets can be. also very good for deflecting weapons. yes your range is limited but its a dodge /sidestep attack move. the ground and pound them to death. especially if u had large spikes on them.

ya i would love damage on gloves some of the funnest time i have had playin diablo is when i go around punching things to death:P
ever if its just a chara that has a punching skill like kick for assa so when that chara uses gloves it gives damage

In my opinion giant swords/axes/hammers > brass knuckles any day

I like fist weapons, but not for the barbarian. I'd love to see a lighter melee fighter using a pata (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pata_(weapon)).

That could make interesting combinations, with low or specialized damage handwear and unarmed-only skills.
