mf pvm hdin

Hi, i need to make an mf hdin that could rock hell. I'll need a cheap build but not too cheap. If you could post a cheap/mid/expensive build. Also what should I MF, should i do andy/trav/meph/diablo. I made an orb sorc lvl 64 (so far) and she was doing all 4 in nm. But then i realized it took forever and never rly got any good gear. so i skipped catacombs til meph never dropped anything. Then i started doing trav/diablo and it's been working ok. it's fast and the drops aren't too bad. Please let me know which are best to mf with.

(if u have the patience to look through all the pages on The Drop Report thread, scattered near the end pages are EDmg amounts that i have found from various areas/monsters/difficulties. maybe, i'll go through it and make a new thread with the mod data copy and pasted out of it, at some point for u).

u can use the search function and find it. just type in, drop report, for your search on this site in the classic (this) forum.

nm doesn't have that good of drops.

in nm, if your really lucky, the seal bosses and diablo can drop up to around ~ 150-170% EDmg on rare and exceptional weapons.

the secret to mf'ing (hell difficulty):

u need 2 hdins.

hdin #1:

stats:

80 str. rest into vit.

skills:

20 concentration (active aura that u always have on-using), 20 bles ham, 20 vigor, 20 bles aim, rest into holy shield or resist lit/fire. 1 pt into redemption

gear: (mf gear)....

gull, tanc armor, tanc amulet, 3 p topaz hat, milabrega shield, chance gloves, goldwrap belt, nagel rings (perfect nagel gives 30 mf) or near impossible to find blue rings with over 30 mf (perfect mf blue ring gives 40 mf), 25 mf 30 FWR resists 10% FHR godly rare boots

hdin #2:

stats:

80 str. rest into vit.

skills:

20 salvation (active aura that u always have on-using), 20 bles ham, 20 vigor, 20 bles aim, rest into holy shield or resist lit/fire. 1 pt into redemption

gear: (mf gear)....

gull, tanc armor, tanc amulet, 3 p topaz hat, milabrega shield, chance gloves, goldwrap belt, nagel rings (perfect nagel gives 30 mf) or near impossible to find blue rings with over 30 mf (perfect mf blue ring gives 40 mf), 25 mf 30 FWR resists 10% FHR godly rare boots

*simply stay partied and within range of each other's auras, so that u both have concentration (for damage-killing ability) and salvation (for protection-resists). u both have pure mf gear allowing u both to kill and mf equally or near equally.

*of course one of u can switch to vigor to move from the dead clump of monsters to the next clump of monsters

for mf'ing with sorcs:

sorcs ARE good-best for mfing

however in hell difficulty, u'll probably have to sacrifice some mf gear. u'll have to balance FCR, MF, and resists gear.

my own 3 "all purpose" or "jack of all trades" (MF+rush+kill) sorcs:

1. cold sorc: 100 str. 51 dex. rest into vit. 20 froz orb. 20 ice bolt. 20 cold mast. 20 teleport. rest into warmth. 1 pt static. 1 pt shiver armor

2. fire sorc: 100 str. 51 dex. rest into vit. 20 firewall. 20 fire mast. 20 teleport. 20 warmth. at least 1 pt into static. 1 pt shiver armor. rest of sk pts where ever u want.

3. lit sorc: 100 str. 51 dex. rest into vit. 20 (lit) nova. 20 lit mast. 20 teleport. 20 static. rest into warmth. 1 pt shiver armor.

the 100 str lets u wear-use all the different armors u'll need.

the 51 dex lets u wear-use shard.

this 100 str and 51 dex allows your sorc to wear corresponding gear for all 3 or whatever of the 3 purposes (MF, rush, kill) u want the sorc to be doing at that moment.

Just one thing...with two dins, you don't seem to get the concentration bonus on your hammers if only the other din has it on.

Then of course it's probably just the LCS, and I'm wrong.

another idea of a great mf char is the holy shock mf din.

he wears mf such as gull/chanceguards, etc. gear while having high fire n light resist, in nm chaos, the aura pulse damage alone will kill the monstersd very quickly

You can just made normal hammerdin and wear some mf gear. My Eu hdin now has 170 mf while clearing cs and 0 mf whne he kills Diablo. Nothing else is needed. Build just like normal Hdin... Pretty cheap build as all 'kicky' gear you need is gull, tarn and deacent fc rings and amulet. Perf ward can act as your shield until you find better. Even with 30 fcr pala clears cs in about 5 mins.... Or if you like you can do hell trav first then cs for variation...
