Question for the melee ppl

So someone I was melee vs melee dueling told me to stop using shift fury as if that was a cheap method of hitting more? I don't understand this and I wasn't holding shift(spacebar on mine) at all... First try at melee druid btw wasn't that good..but he did kill some ppl.

They probably thought you were gridding since actually Shift Fury can cause you to hit less or not at all due to how it decides when to apply subsequent Fury hits.

It is still more advantageous to use it against teleing casters like sorcs and hammerdins than waiting for them to tele and kill you though right?

Yes.

And gridding is a way to maximize the use of your weapon range by using the corner of the grids Blizzard used for map creation. Think there's a few topics floating around here somewhere but that's the gist of it.
