After hours of searching, endless posting and NOT receiving any replies... I've finally found something and wanted to help folks out just getting back into this game... Enjoy

Excellent and thanks for contributing! I've successfully taken my lvl 24 Rogue to hell, and am about done with norm-Diablo. I was really disappointed with the Bow Rogue. Too many compromises vs the other character builds. Carrying around a damn bow and sword + shield = takes up way too much space Vs other builds that are fine with 1 weap or 1weap + shield...

That Cat's site is dying; lots of busted links and image place holders... but the text is still there! Thanks!

I wish there was a modern/updated Diablo-1 thread, with links and stuff. I don't know why is this wonderful information was allowed to die. With 1TeraByte drives out, there's PLENTY of space to host it...

Heh, the site is long dead. We're lucky it is archived.

You might be interested in lurkerlounge.com.
They still have some info there, and you can find a lot of the D1 info by searching their forums.

Ironically, the best Hellfire/D1 fansite was this one, long long long before it became diabloii.net (or diii.net now). That's how I got involved with the site, since i found it searching for Hellfire info and used to mail Elly tips and questions and such, and she invited me to come help out, not long after D2 was released. We don't have those old D1/HF pages online anymore, but the diablowiki now has all that we ever did (http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Diablo_Game) and much more. I've been updating it steadily for the past few months.

Another classic d1 site, that doesn't appear to have been updated in at least 10 years, is this one.

I primarily used it and jarulf's guide to refresh my memory and check info while updating the diablowiki.

Yeah I've been had all those sites re-bookmarked! Wow hard to believe this game was a "decade" ago?! That's call STAYING POWER, I'm still playing it and getting a kick out of it. Although when I say it like that, it makes me wonder... DIII is just how "far" they've come from 10YRS ago? Doesn't seem that advanced to me, being some of the titles out there give the user some pretty serious game play freedoms and options. GTA = legendary for free-roam... Remember that game from when you were some little stick-figure hopping in and out of cars, viewing from only overhead... Wow... DIII better be the Banana-Split-Sundae we've all long been waiting for! :dontknow:

PS- Wait, "Elly?"
