So my first game of the day I managed to kill baal and then I saw the 11,425soj sold message ... I think Im camping and gonna wait this one out since I lost my only Anni the other day ... Whats the majic number 14K or so ??

Wish I knew the magic number. Ive seen it pop at as low as 7K and up to 12ish. Good luck camping your shiny stone, your Wolfie is more then up for the task :)

I have still never had him pop in a game I was playing in. Hell I've never even seen him, period. Tried the camping out thing a few times before when I saw a large number of sojs had been sold but no luck.

How long should you wait after a "XXXX sojs sold to merchants" message with no more messages before you assume you missed it? One time I waited 15 minutes since the last message and said well I'm tired of that....

It's not a magic number it's a total sold since the last walk on that server.

Could be one message or 50, there's a range of number sold on the server to make him walk somewhere.

Well Im done waiting and its been 15 minutes at least now - anyone want the game its ofc / hells ..

Iv'e seen it hit and miss a few times and then sometimes its a rapid escalation of Rings being sold .. Iv'e seen it happen 4 times now and collected them all only to lose them all to 4 deaths somehow / someway , but its definatley fun when it happens only it dont happen too often for me ...

I've heard the magic number was in groups of 75. I'm not going to vote my opinion one way or another on how they do this but the answer you seek might be found here.http://zelaron.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26650

Majority of the time it seems I'm in the middle of a norm rush when I see the soj's sold message. Though the other night we got the SOJ message in the ESU run. :D Unfortunately he never appeared for us.

I do not know how many SoJ need to be sold ... My friend was idling in a game the other week and upon return found that Diablo was walking the earth - If memory serves there were 2 messages saying SoJ's were sold of about 7k each. (14k total ?) Ended up with a 15/20/9 :thumbup:
