hi. i was thinknig of making a bonemancer, and i have read the guide to the dentist. i want to use teeth. eye candy, viable, and i think more fun than bone spear and potentially more dmg when their are a lot of targets on screen.

bone spear is great as it does decent dmg and can pierce through monsters, making it deadly when monsters are lined up

well just want your opinions on which to use

well i cant use them both as thats too many skill points

i can either use teeth to synergize bone spear and use spear as main skill, or spear to synergize teeth and use teeth as main skill

bone spirit will be maxed either way to deal with single targets (bosses etc.)

20 bwall
20 prison
20 spirit
20 teeth or spear
rest to last synergy

Well, simply, instead of placing points into wall and prison, choose one of them. Or 10 each, if you really want both or something like that.

no i dont want both, teeth and spear. 1 or the other. i play on hc and 20 points to bwall and prison will be needed, it adds loads ofbone armour damage absorbation

You're picking the wrong 4 things to max. You want to max Spirit last. Spear works fine against bosses and in areas like the Maggot Lair, Teeth works fine in large open areas like the Frigid Highlands. Spirit doesn't really have a place; it's more of a PvP skill.

If you INSIST on the false dichotomy, I'd side with Teeth. You don't need 2 skills that are both good against bosses.

Keep doing pit runs until you are at lvl 89.

You will have 100 skill points, and can max all five.

- Here you go Fred; Wall+Prison+DV is great start for you... Spear+Teeth would be great finish! Spirit might sound nice but when you start using it in PvM you migh get quite nervouse very fast, so forget it.
- Whywhy? Well, most simpler; it has single purpouse, single targets. I would like some crowd-control spirit doesn't provide. Teeth do provide great control but at very high leves cose only one little teeth can hit any moster at one cast.
- That leaves clean Spear; which pierces throught everything, is radiused, and has long trail and so on...

- If you will have at least +7 to summo tree, you might want 1pt clay golem/mastery/resist, without thinking!

I agree with teeth/spear first and spirit last.
