OK, Ive been researching and thinking of some fun builds to play, and one that popped up is a pure boxer (no weapon). My original thought was to go with a Barb, for the super life and super str, but Pallys seem to have faster attack speeds, which I think would be pretty crucial. I do have some questions about it though, gear aside.

1. Barb or Pally? Barb has double swing, so you could be throwing two punches with one attack, and he would look cooler. Pally has zeal, which has a wick attack speed maxed out (i play fanatic zealot).

2. Charms. Aside from skills or other gear, I was thinking the best elemental damage small charms possible. If i do the calculation right, 40 perfect lightning dmg scs will allow 40-3960 lite dmg per hit. Throw in a mix of fire, cold, and poison and the dmg will drop but it will be a better mix.

I was thinking about trying this on single player with a hero builder, but cant find one (and dont know if it will mess up any bnet stuff).

Any thoughts, or am I totally out of place?

And yes, I know this char could get wicked expensive as it would depend on lots of perfect to near perfect charms.

Thanks!

Paladin. He has the holy-element auras, which give straight elemental damage. If you allow shield-bashing, he can smite too. Also, I think double swing requires you to actually have weapons.

On a side note, this really isn't the place to discuss hero editors.

Nimbo- Thanks. Id rather keep it on just the punching, but since its a one hander the build would have a shield. Sorry about the Hero Editor comment. Just something I thought might work to see if its viable or not.

Kalanor- Thanks. I didnt realize that.

Barb is good and he has two 'theme' attacks. Bash and Stun.
Barb has huge life, so he can survive without shield (looks better).

Boxing gloves=Steelrend
You need lots of crushing blow anyway. Duress and Goblin Toe etc...
Try to keep helmet slot unvisible (circlet etc...) so its looks better at field.
Or shako. Surely guillaume is very good, but so ugly and ruins the theme.

Even leap/leap attack could fit for theme. And you can use dirty tricks (War cry) and just punch while they are just standing there. War Cry is synergy for Stun anyway. I hope those skills works without weapon, never tested.

Taunt is very nice, you can call next one in.

Surely double dream pala with conv aura is best, but its too powerful.
