So yeah, I used the infamous search button and nothing valuable came forward so I decided to ask you guys.

Do you guys know of a guide that uses fury/rabies as main attack but actually emphasizes on being somewhat of a tank.
I'm thinking along the lines of.. 10k Life, Max Dr, Max Block And the 3 Frame FHR..
Is this at all possible or will the damage suffer from trying to get your life that high.
Maybe it would be smarter to stick with a bear to reach 10k life..but I've always like wolves alot more..

Do you guys have any suggestions about gear and skill set-ups?

I'm assuming 10k might not be reachable but.. maybe 8k+
And also a steady damage rate..
Using stoutwoods fury/rabies guide that is posted here on this site..
What would need to change gear/skill wise to make this possible?
Does it absolutely require 37x 3/20/20 or can it be done in another way?

45 Lifers, Crafted Belt, Gloves, Ammy, and sick boots.

It's doable. However the increase of the build costs outweigh the benefit of 2k more life IMO.

The goal of any pvp wolf should be to reach as high life as possible, but there are things like faster run/walk, deadly strike, resists etc. depending on who you're up against which you can't (shouldn't atleast) sacrifice for life.

And, as Verashiden said, in the end it comes down to how much you spend on your wolf. The better your items are the more life you'll get.

You must also ask yourself do u want to sacrifice versatility for more life because if your only using +life items and stat around them then you will reduce your gear change options

Not possible with max DR. You'd have to use some sorta armor of the whale prolly too... Porky got up to ~9.8k with his bear.. he only had like high 30's, 40's GC's though and that's a Werebear too. It would be nearly impossible as a wolf. My shockbear could get 10k with the right equipment and buffs, its just stupid though 'cause its all gear I'd never duel with lol, I think that's the point Rashi's making >.<

I'm over 7k with crappy charms myself. I know Kiba had just over 10k life, while maintaining max block and such, though I'm almost convinced he made some unholy pact with Diablo to get it >.<

Craze (mr.maf on bnet I believe) has upwards of 11.6k, and claims he can reach upwards of high 12-low 13k (can't even get that in SP from what I've tried), and I'm pretty sure Guiness is over 10k as well. It just takes crazy good gear to get that kind of life.

High life doesn't necessarily equal a good character. Wolves with extremely high life are probably not very good since they lose flexibility and important things like resists, frw, and so on. So it's not just a matter of good gear, it's also a matter of what you want your character to be. A character with high life or a good character.

Actually each of those characters mentioned (Kibbles in particular) are statted for full flexibility, but their charms are just that friggen righteous. Overall though, 7k with all the breakpoints is plenty. Ink was notorious as I recall for pwning wolves (and others in pubs for that matter) with way better gear through superior tactics and pixel positioning, with similar stats to that (7k life, full frame bp's, etc).
