Always want to know this
I assume you mean DS, in which no since no corpse is left. OR, it could be LS for instance not leaving a corpse, which I doubt, but have no 100% certainty (just 90%) :P

Dude i already saw ur post in my last thread,so i better w8 other reply before testing it with nihla with my hc trapper. And seriously,no offence, but can u read topic before replying ) ?
Well, you called purple incorrect when saying something true (but not what you were asking.) ;)
Also, better wording and a clear explanation is good. There are a couple of instances where the RIP mod is good and bad for traps. You mentioned running Nih., but though he can't blow you up, neither could you use the corpses.
Nevertheless, I'd gladly welcome another's input who likely knows for certain (I am not, but would assume they work with it).
Not for traps that are considered minions (anything except FB, SW and the blade skills). The same reason why -res and +% light damage on your gear don't work for traps.

ummm.....
afaik: kills made with traps while wearing a natures peace are "redeemed" and nothing further can be done with their corpse (eg: death sentry no work no more).
As long as you are using a Sentry RIP doesn't work. Again, those are minions.

what does rest in peace do?
When you kill a monster while carrying that mod it prevents corpses to be used for spells like corpse explosion, redemption and the various summoning/reviving spells. This counts for all players and monsters. For example Fallen Shamans wouldn't be to revive Fallens anymore.
This thread is a bit old, but I'd just like to clarify/confirm my understanding of how this modifier works for assassins since it wasn't completely clear. Assuming you have SMRIP (i.e. nature's peace equipped):
Monsters that die to your traps and minions CAN have their corpses exploded/used - they do NOT rest in peace
Skills affected: lightning sentry, death sentry, charged bolt sentry, wake of fire, wake of inferno, shadow master/mercenary kills
Monsters that die to your direct attacks CANNOT have their corpses exploded/used - they rest in peace
Skills affected: kicks, fire blast, shock web, claw attacks, blade fury, mind blast, venom, blade shield, psychic hammer, blade sentinel
This seems pretty convenient for a kick/trapper, at least once you locate nihlathak in halls of vaught (might not want to use it to get to him, so you can death sentry lightning immunes once you kick one to death). You'd be able to safely kick any monsters that came in melee range of you without fear of blowing up, and you'd still be able to death sentry the huge pack of ice spawn to insta-kill nihlathak and the whole group.
