Do the monsters you summon as a necro benefit from offensive auras such as holy shock ?

For example - would holy shock on my merc give my summons added lightning damage?

The skill's description says that only the character using it gets the aura's elemental damage added. Pulse damage however will still work.

Every aura, except Holy Fire/Freeze/Shock and Redemption, will be shared with or otherwise benefit your summons.

No the summons do not get the elemental damage bonus. That type of aura only works for the one who has it activated.

If you wish to gain some elemental damage on your melee summons you'll have to look for enchant. :cloud9:

Manually enchanting upwards of 10 skeletons? No offense, but that sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

I say the opposite. You are basically giving each minion like 2k of fire damage. It's just about 1 of the most deadly thing that can happen for non fire immunes.

My own enchanter gives 4k, and it last for 20 minutes, clearly worth it I'd say :thumbsup:

2-4k? Jesus, I thought it was a couple of hundred at best, so I'll agree, totally worth it with this sorta damage.

Max enchant damage is over 6 k fire damage and can last for about 24 minutes. If you have 10 skellies that is 60 k worth of extra damage :thumbsup:

I did not understand you. I thought that necro can enchant his minion on his own :(
It is hard to find nice sorc who spend few minutes enchanting your army. Summoner may use only demopn limb what add crap damage and recharging costs tons of gold.

I had zeal sorc last ladder. With dreams upt to 50K dmg. She was great but died fast.
