As per the definition of this roonword it would appear that a Thundermaul is able to be made into an Oath . But after seeing this note at the bottom Im not sure ---> Notes:
*Maces: Maces doesn't mean all Mace class weapons. As the top of the page says: Maces = Mace, Morning Star, Flail, and Exceptional/Elite versions.

So Im curious if it is or if it isnt possible to make an OATH Thundermaul before I waste my roons ...

Oath = 4 Socket Swords/Axes/Maces

Shael + Pul + Mal + Lum

30% Chance To Cast Level 20 Bone Spirit On Striking
Indestructible
+50% Increased Attack Speed
+210-340% Enhanced Damage (varies)
+75% Damage To Demons
+100 To Attack Rating Against Demons
Prevent Monster Heal
+10 To Energy
+10-15 Magic Absorb (varies)
Level 16 Heart Of Wolverine (20 Charges)
Level 17 Iron Golem (14 Charges)

Not possible. Thunder Maul is a type of hammer.

Guess I'll stick with the Windhammer then ...

Ermmm it appears the Thundermaul may just be a Mace as per ---> http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/maces.shtml

Does anyone know for sure if the OATH roonword will work in a Thundermaul ?? Or a Ogremaul for that matter ...

:scratchchin:

Legendary mallet would be even better :)
Thundermaul works with BOTD.
