Best Dual Wield Axe Setup for 1.12

Hey all,

I stopped playing back in 1.10 and I'm getting back in. Formerly I played a BvC WW barb with Enigma, Beast, and Grief. I've since rebuilt him (LvL 86, only about 5K life after BO as I have virtually no life charms :banghead:) and he seems to be strong, but I'm seeing new axe combinations and gear setups. I'd love to hear the more "pro" guys advice on the following setups:

Enigma with Grief/Beast
Enigma with BOTD/Beast
Enigma with BOTD/Last Wish
Fortitude with BOTD/Last Wish

If there's any other setup which has shown to produce more damage output that I didn't include, please let me know.

I'm assuming Grief/Beast is still the winner due to Greif's +dmg and Beasts IAS and OW. But maybe I'm outdated...

As for dueling, I'm seeing an increased focus on AR charms, when in the past the metagame had a greater focus on life. Seeing level 89 Barbs with 4400 life confuses me.

my origonal ww barb used ebotdcb/griefpb...ya ya ya weapons different but concept was the same Hi-maxdmgweapon/hi-avgdmg weapon.. if beast was in sword i would have used it. if your going to be looking for bvc again IMO u cant bvc w/o nigma, hands down. when im in a more "bvb" mode i switch out my sc's witch are 20-5's to 3/15-20/5%fhr, and i use total or 400Ar 90 life gc's and 3 wc gc's(it should be know that i use EbotdGS as of now) and nig for fort...duh!

nigma: grief/beast= best all around
botd/grief= my choice
grief/doom is the bvc setup of choice tho
UNLESS YOU ARE A SMITER OR CHARGER...OR KICKER LW IS NOT FOR PVP

It's still the winner with enigma. This is due to grief damage + the damage that Beast adds to grief + Beast's own damage. The IAS from fanatasism would only help if you want to Berzerk someone, so make sure your griefz has 34% or more IAS--on the weapon.

Edit: Like Kordova said, some people still like ebotdz alot. Even people that have used all the different combos - but he's a sword man =)

eBotdZ has many upsides to bvc, for instance windys, tasty little wolves to leech off of. BOTD offers 12-15% ll. not to mention the re-roll and wasted runes when yer not at enugh IAS. its depressing thats y i switched to griefpb

BTW I wasn't poking at you, I think non-cookie cutter barbs are cool!

But yeah, 34% on zerker hits the last breakpoint. It's Colossus Blades that need a pretty much perf ias roll for Greif.
