Wormskull

Ive got a workskull with 1 open socket and im not sure what to stick in it. I was thinking of something for resists, but im not sure which one ill need later.

Its for a skellemancer

Also, i'll take any suggestions for easy to find/cheap gear, i'm new to LOD and this is my first summoner

If you don't have good gear, you can slap a PTopaz in there for the magic find. Or just put whatever you find that you need (Ral/Thul/Ort for resists, PRuby for life, PSapphire for mana).

Cheap items to use:
Helm: Peasant Crown or Tarnhelm (either of these are better than Wormskull)
Armor: Spirit Shroud or Vipermagi or Trang Armor
Shield: Rhyme made in any 2os Necro head (preferably with useful +Skills)
Gloves: Chance Guards or Frostburn
Boots: Any rare/magic boots with magic find or Silkweave
Wand: Ume's Lament or Carin Shard
Belt: Up'd Goldwrap or Gloom's Trap

All of these can be had for a few PGems each (usually just 1-3 is enough).

A wormskull isn't worth much anyway, so under no circumstances socket it with anything expensive! A PTopaz for MF like zion suggested is the most I'd put into it.
