Hi guys,

I don't imagine I will go much farther than NM with this character, but that being said, this is my first foray into the Sorceress class and I was wondering which build you guys consider to be the most enjoyable, but also the least item dependent.

Thanks.

Well, Sorcs are by nature pretty item dependant to some extent. Is this your first char? Is it for the purpose of MFing effectively?

If it is for MF I would recommend you make a Blizzard sorc, they get powerfull enough to MF hell Meph+Andy (if you are on the realms you could even go for the QuestGlitching thing - info in the sticky). The problem with a one tree build is that you will run in to immunes so you won't do very good in a lot of places.

If you want to be able to run the most places, try the Meteorber/FireballOrber, guide's in the sticky as well. They do good with pretty cheap equipment and have a not-so-super-expensive goal: Tal rashas full set!

If you have a huge budget a pure lightning sorc is a blast as well, but you pretty much need Infinity for that baby to work. If you have it she's awsome!

I'm biased towards Orbers (http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=557123).
