My smiter paladin

Hi,

I have just made my first smiter paladin. It is now lvl 82. I have used my skillpoints like this:

20 - defiance
20 - holy shield
20 - smite
20 - fanaticism
and the rest in the skill points needed 4 the other skills.

Now my question is. How should I use the rest of my skill points? At the moment I have 5 unused skill points. Should I use vigor 4 running fast? If not, what then?

Meph has -125% conviction, meaning defense is (next-to) useless for him. Could try another build without defiance.

You have 1 pt in Salvation?

Also, recommend Resist Lightning (and/or Resist Fire) to boost your passive max resists.

Well the only reason I maxed defiance, was because it gave me a better holy shield -> therefore, better smite..

I find you don't need much Defiance. Good to have it, but it doesn't help when damaging monsters. I kill ubers quickly with 500 damage smite.

i put my remaining skill points in vigor. vigor increases damage of charge, which is useful in pvp. and it helps desync better.

and no, defiance doesn't increase damage of smite. defiance increases the defense bonus when using holy shield. i say yes in maxing it, unless you're going hybrid.
