kk, I just started recently, was given some items from 2 nice people so decent enough summoning nec as far as gear goes. Now I need to build up some currency. Where should I farm for this stuff at 87? I tried countess but only getting low runes. I can do mephy with a little difficulty so not sure if it's worth it. Any help is welcome.

Take it that you're playing in Hell difficulty.

Try pit running (Tamoe highlands ActI) and ancient tunnels (Lost city ActII). Both are lvl85 areas and drop decent stuff.

Also try pindle (through Anya's portal Act IV), Shenk and Eldritch Frigid highlands. Andariel, Meph, Diablo and Baal are good to run to build some gear though some are harder than others with a summoner.

Without an easy way to teleport a Fishymancer isn't the best boss runner as it takes him much longer to get to the boss than a character with teleport. If you are without teleport I'd suggest running the level 85 areas. Anything in the game can drop there and due to the large amounts of monsters you'll eventually find stuff.

Here is a list of level 85 areas: The Mausoleum, The Pit, Maggot Lair level 3, Ancient Tunnels, Kurast Sewers level 2, Forgotten Temple, Ruined Fane, Disused Reliquary, River of Flame, Chaos Sanctuary , Worldstone Keep and Throne of Destruction.

collect all the flawless gems you find and cube them to perfect gems, these can be traded easily, if you are running the 85 areas you should find loads

aye doing the p gems atm, I found out why I was sucking at mephy, now he is dying quick and easy, just sucky loots. I will try some of those areas, thanks, Some of them are close quarters so might avoid them, 40+ pets trying to attacks mobs through a door is a pita.

Takes awhile if you have your skellies attacking mobs through a door, because only a couple of them can strike at the same time. Cast terror on the monsters until they run away from the door, then you can run in. :)

I would recommend key farming (Nilhatak). Then you would need Nature's Peace Ring
